AID presents Articulate Ability - an Indian dance ensemble by visually challenged performers

This show will be presented by five visually challenged artists, and two sighted artists. The enthralling performances by the visually challenged dancers highlight their struggles and achievements, while motivating us to face challenges and to harness our inner strength. The program features a variety of Indian dances - classical (Bharatnatyam, Kathak), folk, ritual and dance with motifs of martial arts.

Nasha was founded in 2008 when a team of leaders came together with a dream to enrich the University of Houston with an amazing exhibition of Indian culture and talent. Since then, Nasha has grown into a massive college/community event that is host to a packed auditorium. Nasha is known to give a taste of our roots while also incorporating western art.
