Discount Lift Rentals LLC, a Houston-based industrial equipment company and authorized LGMG dealer, is seeking an energetic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to help grow our rapidly expanding construction equipment division.

We currently sell:

• Boom Lifts
• Scissor Lifts
• Rough Terrain Scissor Lifts
• Forklifts

This is NOT a desk job.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable:

• Visiting contractors and jobsites throughout the Houston area
• Introducing our equipment to electrical contractors, HVAC contractors, general contractors, industrial contractors, warehouse operators, and construction companies
• Building relationships and generating leads
• Distributing marketing materials and business cards
• Inviting contractors to equipment demonstrations and open house events
• Following up with prospects and helping close equipment sales

Construction equipment experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.

Ideal Candidate:

• Self-motivated and outgoing
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable meeting contractors and business owners
• Reliable transportation
• Existing contractor relationships are a major plus
• Must be willing to visit jobsites and actively prospect for new business
• Knowledge of the construction industry, contractors, jobsites, and understanding which companies to visit and develop relationships with is a major plus
• Experience in sales, business development, construction, engineering, project management, contractor relations, or industrial equipment is helpful but not required

Compensation:

• Full-time opportunity
• Weekly draw of $400
• Commission on equipment sales
• Performance bonuses
• Potential earnings of $80,000–$150,000+ annually for the right candidate
